I want to compliment whoever on your staff selected the story about Scout, a dog that was adopted by the nursing home (ADN Sunday edition, Sept. 3). It was the most touching story I have ever read about a dog, in this case Scout, a well-loved dog who found a permanent home and life of service at a nursing home.
It brought tears to my eyes. You can see why it’s a mutual love story with the residents of the nursing home.
