"Gift Local" Shopping Program Promotes Buying Local for Holiday Shopping Needs
November 16, 2012, (Anchorage, Alaska) – Take the guesswork out of what to buy and "Gift Local" this holiday season!
"Gift Local" recognizes the unique shops of downtown Anchorage and encourages shoppers to think locally when trying to find that perfect gift.
To help entice shoppers, participating "Gift Local" merchants will offer discounts, gifts with purchase or other rewards when you shop at participating merchants.
Additionally, customers of "Gift Local" merchants will be entered into a drawing to win prizes. The more times you head out to shop at the participating merchants, the more you get entered to win! Drawings will take place after the close of the program.
