Prep volleyball roundup

Dimond's Heidi Andrus racked 22 digs and Leah Swiss hit for 19 kills Wednesay to lead the Lynx to a 25-9, 25-11, 25-4 sweep of host Bartlett in a Cook Inlet Conference volleyball match.

Dimond's Rohyn Huss, who recorded eight kills, was on fire from the service line with 13 aces. Jenna Mixson dished 16 assists for the Lynx, and Cierra Carrigan added seven kills.

Bartlett's Kayla Panzarella and Autumn Plews each turned in three kills, with Savannah Sahara adding a pair.

Service 3, East 0

The Service volleyball team won three close sets to secure a road sweep of East in a CIC match Wednesday. The Cougars prevailed 25-22, 25-23, 25-23.

Morgan Hill led East with 17 kills and nine digs, with Sydney Smith adding 11 digs and five kills. Falua and Mafi Makihele each cleared the 30 assist mark with 32 and 33, respectively.

Chugiak 3, West 0

Rachel Gregg produced nine blocks to go with 10 kills and two aces Wednesday to propel Chugiak to a 25-19, 25-23, 25-19 CIC volleyball win over visiting West.

Kirsten Veech recorded 15 digs, three kills and three blocks for the Mustangs, and Anna Ingraham turned in a double-double with 15 assists and 10 digs.

South 3, Eagle River 0

Getting 20 assists from Kayla Sims, South knocked off Eagle River 25-9, 25-8, 25-13 in a CIC volleyball match at Eagle River High on Wednesday.

Sierra Avery scored eight aces for the Wolverines, who also received four kills from Shelby Little.

Paige Harder distributed 12 assists for Eagle River, Kyla Meadows pounded six kills and Kara Viotto smacked four aces.
