USKH Expands into Montana, Opens Eighth Office

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – USKH Inc. earlier this month expanded its base of operations and opened its first office in Montana. USKH was established more than 40 years ago in Anchorage and has offered services in the Pacific Northwest for more than a decade.

The Billings, Montana, location is the multidiscipline architecture and engineering company's eighth office. The expansion into Montana is part of the employee-owned firm's strategic plan for growth and providing increased opportunities for its employees. The office is at 1536 Mullowney Lane, Suite 202 in Billings; the main phone number is (406) 384-2100.

Tim Vig, P.E. and USKH president, says the expansion has two benefits.

"Establishing a presence in Montana allows clients in the region access to our full range of multidiscipline services, as well as retaining professional and technical staff who want to live there," Vig says. "We're excited to be part of the Billings community and to offer services throughout the state of Montana."

USKH professionals offer architecture, engineering, surveying, GIS, landscape architecture, environmental and planning services to public and private clients. In 2013, USKH was named the sixth-highest rated Multidiscipline Architecture/Engineering (A&E) Firm to Work For in the country by ZweigWhite.

USKH has more than 130 employees with offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Wasilla and Juneau, Alaska; Spokane, Walla Walla and Ferndale, Washington; and Billings, Montana.
