NAHL report: Ice Dogs win, Brown Bears fall

Just a quick NAHL update on the two Alaska clubs -- Fairbanks won its home game Friday and Kenai River losts its home match.

The Ice Dogs used strikes from Yannick Vedel (short-handed), Lonnie Clary and Cayden Cahill, plus 19 saves from Patrick Munson, to beat Minot 3-1 and improve to 5-5-1.

Kenai River's 4-1 loss to Bismark dropped it to 4-7-0. Jack Gessert scored the Brown Bears' only goal, giving him five goals in five games.
