Lumen Christi, Holy Rosary play to 1-1 coed soccer draw

Lumen Christi and Holy Rosary played to a 1-1 in a Thursday evening coed soccer game where strong winds were a factor at Kincaid Park.

"Each team with the wind at their back won that half of soccer," Lumen Christi coach Billy Hunt said in an email.

The Knights of Holy Rosary scored in the first half when Jacob Siebs placed a powerful shot over Lumen goalie Joey Brown.

Midway through the second half, Lumen Christi's Jarrett Fortune broke off the sideline and placed a side shot into the net to tie the game.
