Welcome the holiday season with furry friends - yours and ours

Join volunteers, staff, and the adoptable animals at Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Holiday Open House on Friday, November 27, 1 – 4

• Get to know the shelter! Volunteers and staff will be on hand to show you how animals are cared for while they await their new homes and to talk about volunteer opportunities at the shelter.

• Get your holiday photos early! Bring your animal companions for the family holiday photo. (All dogs must be on 4 – 6' leashes and all cats or small animals in carriers). Photos taken by Paw Prints, Howls

• Adopt a new family member! Our adoptable animals will be waiting to meet you and hopefully find new homes. Plus, there will be gift bags for any animals adopted during the Open House.

• Win a prize! Enter drawings to win prizes from local businesses.

• Warm up with hot drinks and snacks! There will be plenty of hot beverages and tasty treats.
