Elderly American en route to Alaska missing in B.C.

CBC news reports that Robert Milwrick, an 80-year-old man from Arizona, has gone missing in British Columbia while on a trip to Alaska with his sister. According to the article, the pair departed Los Angeles on Tuesday in a 1994 GMC Suburban. Milwrick's 85-year-old sister -- whose name is not being released -- knocked on a stranger's door on Friday night in Burnaby, a suburb of Vancouver, in a disoriented state. Canadian police revealed that she suffers from a medical condition and was unable to inform them where she was from. Family has been notified and a search has begun for Robert Milwrick, who was driving a blue and silver Suburban with Arizona license plate APF 5845, towing a small UHaul trailer with North Carolina llicense plate AA 32508. Police are unsure of Milwrick's condition but do know that the trip was to eventually bring the pair to Alaska. Read a bit more, and see a photo of the missing man, at CBC news.
