Over 4,800 runners, walkers and strollers took part in the Alaska Run For Women in Anchorage on Saturday.

The 24th annual Run for Women in Anchorage on Saturday saw a new champion crowned, the eighth different winner in eight years.

Bob Hallinen has been a photojournalist in Alaska since the 1980s and has traveled extensively all over the state. He retired from the ADN in November 2018 after 33 years at the newspaper.
