Video: Anchorage photographer’s pet portraits raise money for Houston hurricane victims

Anchorage photographer David Jensen hosted a fundraiser for Texas organizations that are working to assist animals in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017. Jensen made portraits of dozens of dogs throughout the day and suggested donations for animal rescue and recovery groups working in Houston.

Tuesday was the second fundraising day at his studio for the cause. Over the course of both days, Jensen photographed 135 dogs and raised about $8,350.

"It's huge to me. I just love how everybody's sticking together. Everybody's coming together, trying to help out other people who they've never met," Jensen said.
