Hundreds of people gathered at Dimond High School for the Alaska Chinese Association’s first in-person Chinese New Year since January 2020.
Alaska Chinese Association president Samson Ning said more than 600 tickets were sold and they expected 700-800 people this year. Ning said, “I hope next year will be a peaceful year and we’ll be over this pandemic and get on with our lives.”
2023 is the Year of the Rabbit.
