Photos: 45th annual Jay Ofsthun Memorial Show and Shine

The show attracted vintage vehicles from all over to the Anchorage park strip.

Scatted rain showers didn’t stop Kelly Schittenhelm from driving her 1971 Dodge Charger SE, with a wing from a Super Bird, from Seward to participate in the 45th annual Jay Ofsthun Memorial Show and Shine at the Delaney Park Strip in Anchorage on Sunday.

“I do this every year,” said Schittenhelm. “This is one of the biggest car shows, the real Alaskans are here. I have music in there. I feel like you’re 20 again just cruising down the highway.”
