Two people are dead after a fiery collision on the Parks Highway near Cantwell, Alaska State Troopers say.
The collision involved a commercial vehicle and a minivan and has blocked the highway.
Troopers received a report of a commercial vehicle on fire at Mile 210 of the highway just after 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to an online dispatch. More calls came in saying there was a collision.
Next of kin have not been notified, troopers said. Traffic is being routed off the highway for north and southbound traffic.
