Man found dead in vehicle parked in Fairview neighborhood

Police are investigating the death of a man found in a parked vehicle in the Fairview neighborhood of Anchorage on Sunday morning.

Police were called to the 1000 block of East 20th Avenue at 10:13 a.m. on Sunday, the Anchorage Police Department said in a statement.

Police are investigating the death as a potential crime but didn’t say why.

“Observations made at the scene are prompting authorities to take a closer look at the incident,” the statement said.

The victim’s name has not been released.
