Wolfside

Dance-friendly electronic pop outfit Wolfside is coming to Anchorage. Named one of the "top five artists you should know in 2016" by veryvinyl.net, the band will play Williwaw with Turquoise Boy opening. 9 p.m. Saturday, Williwaw, 609 F St. $15 advance. $20 day of. (williwawsocial.com)

Chocolate tasting

Enjoy the delicate chocolate creations of Chef Vern's UAA culinary arts students and student apprentices. All creations are made by the advanced students. 'Propped' Momentum Dance + beer tasting

Get a sneak peek of Momentum Dance Collective's upcoming season while participating in a beer tasting from Midnight Sun Brewery. Momentum's season nine performance will use dance improvisation and numerous props (hence the title). Wine will also be available. The Modern Savage anniversary show

The Modern Savage will be celebrating five years of making music with a special anniversary show. Performing live, the band will be videotaping the show for a new music video. Candlelight Vigil

Covenant House Alaska will hold a candlelight vigil to show support for the thousands of youth experiencing homelessness in Anchorage. It will be chilly and dark so dress accordingly. Covenant House will be collecting new and used outerwear for those in need.
