Letter: Confirm Kavanaugh and move on

I listened to the Kavanaugh hearings yesterday, and part of them today. The hearings are a joke, except that they are valuable to show the country what the Democrats are. The Democrats interrupted the hearings 76 times. They seemed to want to talk just to listen to themselves. The Democrats had protesters there to disrupt the hearing. Seventy protesters had to be removed and arrested.

The Democrats have again showed themselves to be delusional, destructive and desperate. The hearings were at least useful for this purpose.
And they expect Sen. Lisa Murkowski to support their position and actions. I can't believe that Sen. Murkowski would do so. It is hard to believe that anyone interested in the future of our country would even vote Democrat.

I started my political life as a Democrat. This was in the days when the Democrats supported the working man and were not just a conglomeration of radical and special interest groups with no coherent policies that are good for the country. Of course there were problems, but I really miss what I believed that the old Democratic Party stood for.

Let's confirm Kavanaugh and move on. There are other problems facing this country and Alaska that need to be addressed.
