Letter: Impeachment travesty

After three years of investigation and hundreds of hours of “breaking news,” we learn there is no “there” there. Now, those same politicians who perpetrated this fraud on American voters are making a last-ditch effort to depose the president of the United States, an insult to 63 million voters.

It’s a shame the Democrats have reached this level of discourse in our Congress. How is it we can’t witness, live, this travesty of congressional jurisprudence and the new concept of impeachable conduct? Why the restrictions on witnesses requested by both sides of the debate? This is not a trial. This is a debate over how and when political disagreement can lead to the undoing of our voting privilege and choice.
