Letter: Resisting police

I don’t believe any evidence showed George Floyd resisting arrest. He was moved in and out of a police car. He was shown walking quietly with his hands cuffed behind his back. Rayshard Brooks was running away with a spent taser. He was shot at a distance of 16 feet, running away. Perhaps when he became aware of being arrested and handcuffed, he feared for his life after Mr. Floyd’s death.

Neither of these deaths showed any danger to the arresting officers, and both offenses were not for any violent crime, but two men are dead. That’s the picture.
