Letters to the Editor

Letter: Dark money

With all of the advertising focused on “dark money” and Alaskans taking back control of their elections via Ballot Measure 2: Doesn’t anybody see the irony that the top three contributors aren’t even located in the state of Alaska? To top it off, there is very little information about “Unite and Renew Fund” online, one of the top contributors of the “Yes on 2” group. Except, of course, that they are located in the center of Silicon Valley in Menlo Park, California. This would seem to be the definition of dark money.

What agenda are they trying to hide? It’s time for Alaskans to wake up to the fact that we are being manipulated by tens of millions of dollars of Outside money to satisfy an agenda that is not in our best interest. Vote no on Ballot Measure 2.
