Don Perrin’s letter regarding Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority was right on point. The directors made an incredibly poor investment decision to purchase 10 year oil leases with no ability, expertise or equipment to either develop the leases or assess their value.
As Mr. Perrin said, “When you don’t use your own money, you have nothing to lose.” Even the big oil companies turned their noses up at the prospects. AIDEA needs to stick to its mission.
