Letter: Better legislators needed

Dan Tucker of Wasilla, in his letter on March 30 and its headline of “Juneau nonsense,” referred to the nonsense in Legislature. He seems to blame this on the “Juneau crew,” implying this is the fault of Juneau and Juneauites.

Juneau should not be blamed for the idiotic antics of a few of the legislators sent here. If you want better action out of the Legislature, send better people. Elect adults who will take the work of the state seriously, not people who are more interested in grandstanding or pursuing their own vendettas. I won’t name names, but I hope the folks in Eagle River and Wasilla will select better in the next election.
