Letter: Rotating sessions

Moving our capital is a bad idea. All the move-the-capital petitions do is cause a lot of stress to Juneau residents. We have already been down that road. But Alaskans should encourage Gov. Mike Dunleavy to schedule special sessions and even regular sessions at different cities throughout our state on a rotating schedule, e.g. Juneau, Anchorage, Fairbanks, Wasilla, etc.

Perhaps one of our legislators could submit such a bill. And, from what I have seen, there might be some years when our legislators could finish business in 90 days. However, usually more time is needed.
