Thanks to Dr. Harold Johnston’s rather refreshing insights into the abortion debate (ADN, July 7). As opposed to demonizing one side or the other, Dr. Johnston allows all religious (and non-religious) parties to make their own decisions regarding abortion consistent with their individual spiritual beliefs.
Wouldn’t it be nice if our Supreme Court was wise enough not to pick winners and losers and instead allowed the same freedom of choice that Dr. Johnson so eloquently expressed in his commentary?
