Letter: Bad teacher

The University of Alaska Anchorage’s adjunct professor Jeremy Cubas must have been hiding in plain sight in the classroom. He must have known enough not to assign his podcast to students as required viewing.

What would have happened had he been honest with the students? If they knew he defended Adolf Hitler’s views, claiming he was not antisemitic? If he made his misogyny clear, saying the “marriage contract” gives men the right to commit acts of sexual violence against their wives? And this dangerous delusion from a paid advisor to the governor on “pro-family” issues!

Cubas has also been, and may still be, a UAA philosophy teacher. One recent course offering was Ancient and Medieval Philosophy. Well, OK. At least that is his specialty.
