Reader Bill Schindler wondered what Ted Stevens would say to his friend Joe Biden about his visit to Joint Base Elmendorf- Richardson on Sept. 11. When Joe Biden eulogized “Uncle Ted” at Anchorage Baptist Temple in August of 2010, he described his fondness for and the esteem with which he held Ted Stevens.
I’m pretty sure that in the game of “What Would Ted Say,” one of the things would be “Thank you, sir.”
