Photos: Nome welcomes more of the Iditarod pack at the finish line
A handful of mushers are still continuing their journey along the Norton Sound coast.

A handful of mushers remained on the Iditarod Trail by Thursday evening, the last of whom are driving their teams through the final stretch along the northern coast of the Norton Sound. The Berington twins arrived in Nome just before 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon, Kristy with eight dogs and Anna with nine.
As fans await the arrival of the last few competitors into Nome, here’s a look at some of the mushers who’ve arrived since the top 10 sailed under the burled arch to wrap up their nearly thousand-mile journey.
