Friday, July 17, 2020, Community Briefing: Today the Mayor will give an update on COVID-19 with Anchorage Health Department Public Health Division Manager Christy Lawton and Medical Officer Dr. Bruce Chandler and Tom Hennessy, MD, MPH, Medical Doctor and Infectious Disease Epidemiologist, UAA College of Health. Anchorage residents may ask questions in the comments of the Facebook Live video and we will do our best to get them answered.

Anchorage Mayor Ethan Berkowitz presented a community briefing Friday on Facebook Live to address concerns and questions about the city’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Joining the mayor were Tom Hennessy, MD, MPH, Infectious Disease Epidemiologist, UAA College of Health; Christy Lawton, Public Health Division Manager, Anchorage Health Department; Dr. Bruce Chandler, Medical Officer, Disease Prevention and Control, Anchorage Health Department.
