After huge demand, Modest Mouse will play a second Anchorage show

Fans who weren't fast enough to get a ticket to a Modest Mouse concert in Anchorage this summer now have another chance.

Moose's Tooth has announced that thanks to massive demand, the indie rock band will play a second show on June 19, one day after the restaurant's annual Summer Solstice concert.

Tickets sold out for the Solstice show 75 minutes after they went on sale in February, said Moose's Tooth Manager Dan Fiacco.

The second show will also be held at the restaurant's parking lot, with doors opening at 6 p.m.

Tickets go on sale for $60 March 11 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bear Tooth Theatrepub box office, beartooththeatre.net or Tunestub. They will be $65 the day of the show -- if any are still available.
