Description: At camp we explore, play and grow. The Alaska Club Camps aim to keep our campers active and having fun all year long! Full week and single day options available. Every day features a variety of hands-on, age-appropriate activities where everyone has the opportunity to experience sports, arts and crafts, outdoor activities and daily swimming. TRAILSIDE DISCOVERY CAMP

Location: Anchorage: Kincaid Bunker, Ruth Arcand Park, Lidia Selkregg Chalet; Eagle River: Beach Lake Chalet; Palmer: Mat-Su Lakes State Recreation Area

Grades/Age: Ages 4-16 - Cost: Start at $320/week; one time non-refundable registration fee, $60

Description: Trailside Discovery Camp is an award-winning camp program in Alaska that provides a broad range of outdoor environmental education experiences for students ages 4 to 16 from all economic, social and cultural backgrounds. We provide summer camps at a variety of locations in Anchorage and Palmer. We also offer special winter and spring programs during school breaks.

CAMP FIRE’S SUMMER ADVENTURE CAMP

Location: Anchorage; Eagle River

Grades/Age: Grades 1-7; Ages 6-12 - Cost: $300/week; accepts Child Care Assistance

Description: Discover fun! Our most flexible and accessible, licensed program runs all day at several elementary schools in Anchorage and Eagle River. Join us for one week, a month or the whole summer! Each day features a variety of hands-on activities including sports, arts and crafts, cooking, science and community involvement. If you want your child to get outside, learn new skills, make new friends, play hard and have quiet time, then this is the camp for you. Scholarships and more information at www.campfireak.org.

GIRL SCOUTS OF ALASKA CAMPS

Location: Anchorage; Chugiak; Wasilla; Virtual

Grades/Age: Grades K-12 in the fall - Cost: Starting at $280

Description: Welcome to the wonderful world of Girl Scout camp! Our camps are open to all girls, regardless of whether they are current Girl Scout members. This year, we are offering in-person day camps in Wasilla, Anchorage and Chugiak, and “virtual” Camp-in-a-Box programs with activities that can be done from home, anywhere! This year’s virtual camps are open to girls all over the U.S. See the camp catalog for more details. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. Girl Scout camp programs are designed to help girls discover the world around them, connect with other campers and take action in their own lives and communities. SSAAK CHUGIAK SOCCER CLUB

Location: Russell Oberg Soccer Park, 21021 Oberg Road, Chugiak

Grades/Age: Coed, born 2013-2009 - Cost: $75/week; $225/all three weeks

Description: This Camp is designed for the soccer player interested in learning both the skills to play and how the game is played from a positional and team perspective. The player will be taught the game within the game and its perspective.
